Singularis

Civilization scaled beyond Earth. Human coordination did not.

Overview

A near-future transmedia science fiction universe exploring humanity’s transition into a multi-planetary civilization after the Technological Singularity.

Singularis spans games, animation, music, and interconnected worldbuilding systems set during an era of accelerating technological expansion and planetary-scale change.

As civilization expands beyond Earth, humanity struggles to adapt to systems operating faster than human coordination, governance, and understanding.

Rather than observing this transition from a distance, Singularis is designed to place players, viewers, and listeners inside it — experiencing the momentum, uncertainty, conflict, and human consequences of living through a rapidly changing civilization in real time.

Not after the future arrived.

While it’s still unfolding.

Built as a long-term transmedia universe, Singularis delivers interconnected stories, cinematic experiences, original music, and large-scale worldbuilding across multiple mediums.

The Premise

Humanity reached the stars during the same period it was still struggling to manage itself.

The Technological Singularity did not create a unified world.

It accelerated everything that already existed.

Governments expanded.
Corporations expanded.
Infrastructure expanded.
Automation expanded.

So did conflict.
Dependence.
Miscalculation.
Escalation.

Earth remained the center of human civilization, but it was no longer the only world shaping it.

Orbital infrastructure surrounded the planet.
Mars industrialized.
Expansion corridors connected cities, shipyards, fleets, and frontier systems across the solar system.

Civilization became continuous infrastructure operating across multiple worlds in real time.

Always active.
Always scaling.
Never fully aligned.

No single government controls humanity’s future.

No system fully understands the consequences of its own acceleration.

And yet everything keeps moving forward anyway.

That is the world of Singularis.

The Experience

Singularis is designed to place players, viewers, and listeners inside a civilization accelerating faster than human systems were built to manage.

Some experiences are personal.
Some operate at planetary scale.

Pilots navigate conflicts unfolding across orbital infrastructure and expansion corridors.
Governments struggle to coordinate across multiple worlds.
Corporations, autonomous systems, and competing factions push civilization forward at machine speed while people attempt to keep pace with the consequences.

No one sees the full system clearly.

Everyone operates with partial information, competing priorities, and limited control over systems larger than themselves.

While Singularis explores large-scale technological, political, and systemic change, the universe also embraces irony, satire, dark humor, and the absurdity of humanity carrying its habits, culture, entertainment, and contradictions into the space age.

Across every medium, Singularis focuses on the human experience of living through transition — the uncertainty, momentum, responsibility, and strange normalcy of humanity becoming multi-planetary in real time.

Built Across Mediums

Singularis is experienced across games, animation, and music.
Each medium explores a different perspective of the same evolving universe.

Interactive Experience

A science fiction arcade vertical shooter blending fast-paced action, maneuvering, cinematic presentation, and narrative-driven gameplay inside the world of Singularis.

Players engage in high-speed combat encounters, precision piloting, environmental traversal, and unfolding story moments across a rapidly accelerating multi-planetary civilization.

Designed as both a visual and sonic experience, the game combines action gameplay, music, atmosphere, and worldbuilding into a connected experience operating inside the larger Singularis universe.

Cinematic Experience

An animated science fiction series exploring the political, technological, cultural, and human realities of humanity becoming a multi-planetary civilization after the Technological Singularity.

The series follows multiple perspectives across an accelerating civilization shaped by expanding infrastructure, competing systems, human ambition, and the strange normalcy of everyday life continuing through massive technological change.

Blending cinematic storytelling, satire, irony, action, music, and large-scale worldbuilding, the series is designed to immerse viewers inside the evolving world of Singularis from ground level to planetary scale.

Audio Experience

An original soundtrack blending electronic music, cinematic scoring, rock, atmospheric sound design, and vocal-driven compositions into the emotional signal of Singularis.

The music is designed to function as both soundtrack and standalone experience — carrying the energy, momentum, tension, irony, beauty, and scale of humanity entering the space age.

Inspired by cinematic science fiction, 80s storytelling energy, modern electronic production, and large-scale emotional worldbuilding, the audio experience helps immerse listeners inside the evolving universe of Singularis through music, themes, motifs, and narrative-driven sound.

Development

Singularis is currently in active development across games, animation, music, visual worldbuilding, narrative systems, and transmedia production pipelines.

The project is being built incrementally as a long-term evolving universe rather than a single standalone release.

Gameplay systems, animated storytelling, soundtrack production, visual development, lore, worldbuilding, and canon structure are all developing together as part of a connected creative ecosystem.

Parts of the development process are shared publicly through production updates, visual explorations, music previews, behind-the-scenes breakdowns, and ongoing creative iteration.

Additional development material, process work, production insight, and early explorations are also shared through Patreon and Cryptic Design channels as Singularis continues to evolve.

Not all of it is finished.

That’s part of the experience.
